Event Staff

Location: Winnipeg and surrounding areas
Type: Part-time (Approximately 20 hours per week)
Pay: Competitive hourly wage + mileage when applicable

About the role

As a Virtual Golf Caddy, you’ll be the face of On Par Co. at events — setting up our mobile simulator, engaging with guests, and ensuring every event runs smoothly from the first swing to the final putt.

This is a hands-on role for someone who’s personable, professional, and thrives in social settings. You’ll handle setup, assist participants, manage equipment, and represent the On Par brand with pride and enthusiasm.

What you’ll do

  • Set up, operate, and take down mobile golf simulator equipment at event sites

  • Greet guests and guide them through simulator play and contests

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional event space

  • Troubleshoot basic technology (we’ll train you!)

  • Represent the On Par brand with confidence, friendliness, and professionalism

  • Keep the energy positive and ensure guests have a memorable experience

What we’re looking for

  • Passion for golf and helping others enjoy the game

  • Outgoing, dependable, and able to work independently

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Physically able to lift and move event equipment (up to ~50 lbs)

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)

  • Experience pulling small trailers and a vehicle to do so

  • Comfortable with light technology setup (computers, projectors, etc.)

  • Available for evenings, weekends, and special events

  • Previous experience in event staffing, hospitality, or customer service is an asset
